ATTENTION UNINSURED PATIENTS SEEKING OBSTETRIC CARE:

Effective January 1, 2024, all patients without Canadian Provincial Health Care Insurance will have to pay an $8000 non-refundable payment to South Side Women’s Health Centre one week before your first visit. This will cover:

• Visits at the clinic

• Anaesthesiologist fees for pain management at the hospital

• Obstetrician fees at delivery and at hospital visits

ADDITIONAL FEES will be invoiced by and payable to lab and ultrasound companies and the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, including: 

• Daily Rate for Mother: $4500+

• Daily Rate for Baby: $3000+

  Please know this is non-negotiable and the price is subject to change pending agreements among the city’s OB/Gyne community, the Alberta Medical Association, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Payments must be received ONE WEEK BEFORE your first appointment at the clinic or your appointment will be cancelled.
