Dr. Amanda O’Reilly

 

Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. O’Reilly completed her Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Neuroscience followed by her Doctor of Medicine degrees at Dalhousie University. She moved to Edmonton for residency training at the University of Alberta and is certified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Alberta.

In addition to her general obstetrics and gynecology practice, Dr. O’Reilly’s special interests include vulvar diseases, medical disorders in pregnancy, and medical education. She received a Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award as well as Resident Teacher of the Year Award during residency, and she is currently completing her Master of Medical Education degree through the University of Dundee. 

When she’s not working, Dr. O’Reilly enjoys cooking, shopping at antique stores, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
