Dr. Hawthorne completed her BSc.H. from the University of Guelph in Ontario, followed by medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Dr. Hawthorne did her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency in Edmonton, becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Hawthorne completed additional training in menopause care in Toronto and is certified by The North American Menopause Society. She is experienced in caring for women during healthy and complicated pregnancies and her practice covers health concerns throughout a woman’s lifetime in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In her spare time, Dr. Hawthorne enjoys S.C.U.B.A. diving and oenology. She is happy to be in Edmonton, and especially loves exploring the variety of restaurants found around the city.
